Why Sustain

Why ongoing
exposure matters

In Israel, babies start eating peanut puffs (Bamba) as part of their everyday diet from around 4–7 months. Compared with babies in the UK and US, peanut allergy in Israeli children is more than 10 times lower.

The L.E.A.P. Study (2015) showed why: babies introduced to peanut early — and who kept eating it regularly — had up to an 81% reduction in peanut allergy by age 5.

The point isn't only introducing the allergen. It's sustaining the exposure. Tongtong Snack makes that exposure something babies will keep coming back to.
